
Impact Polk is an annual competitive, donor-directed grant program of the GiveWell Community Foundation with the goal of addressing community needs throughout Polk County. Impact Polk grants often support a broad range of needs, such as arts and culture, education, health, and human services.
Public nonprofit organizations that serve in Polk County and are recognized by the IRS as described in the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) as eligible for tax-exempt status may apply for grant funding. Please read the Impact Polk Guidelines for more information.
Timeline
- The application period for Impact Polk 2023 opened September 9, 2022, and closed October 17, 2022.
- Final grant award notices will be sent between March – June 2023. Grant applications are viewed by a GWCF fundholder for funding consideration, so we cannot provide an exact date. All Impact Polk grant applicants will be notified.
