Impact Polk is an annual competitive, donor-directed grant program of the GiveWell Community Foundation with the goal of addressing community needs throughout Polk County. Impact Polk grants often support a broad range of needs, such as arts and culture, education, health, and human services.
Public nonprofit organizations that serve in Polk County and are recognized by the IRS as described in the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) as eligible for tax-exempt status may apply for grant funding. Please read the Impact Polk Guidelines for more information.
- September 11, 2020 – Impact Polk 2021 application process opens. Applications will not be accepted early.
- October 5, 2020 – Impact Polk grant applications must be fully submitted online by 11:59 p.m.
- March – June 2021 – Final grant award notices sent. Grant applications are viewed by fundholders for funding consideration, so we cannot provide an exact date. All Impact Polk grant applicants will be notified as soon as possible.
