Grants from the Foundation
Many of our grants are made on the suggestion of our donors or fund advisors who do not accept grant requests. These funds are established and advised by individual donors, with final approval by the GWCF board of directors.
Throughout the year, GWCF offers several grant opportunities to qualified nonprofits serving our community.

When nonprofits establish a charitable fund with the Community Foundation, we handle complex gifts, paperwork, investments, and we can help your donors and their advisers with potential planned gifts.
About the Community Foundation
GiveWell Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity serving Polk, Hardee, and Highlands counties in Central Florida. The Community Foundation holds more than 380 charitable funds established by individuals, families, organizations, and private foundations and serves a wide variety of charitable services.
