As many nonprofit workers transition to working from home, the Lake Wales Public Library has made the Foundation Directory Online for Grant Seekers available remotely. This powerful tool for funding resources is normally a closed license, available locally only within the Lake Wales Library.

The Lake Wales Public Library can also assist you with funding searches directly, or with support materials such as great handouts, including an accepted vocabulary sheet. Establishing an agency fund with the GiveWell Community Foundation can provide advantageous services for nonprofits. More than 60 local nonprofits have established funds the Community Foundation.
Sharing the good news of your grant helps you publicize your organization and its good work, recognizes the GiveWell Community Foundation and its donors, and promotes philanthropy. Please send a draft to our Communications Manager at email@example.com for approval before sending to print or posting online.
Please include an acknowledgement of the GiveWell Community Foundation’s funding of your projects in your press releases, website, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, or other promotional materials related to the project.
Under IRS code, it is required that the Community Foundation be mentioned when acknowledging a fund within the Foundation. Please use the following language to acknowledge your grant from a Foundation fundholder:
This grant was made possible by the [Name of Fund] within the GiveWell Community Foundation.
This project was funded [or “funded in part”] by a grant from the [Fund Name] within the GiveWell Community Foundation.
Grantees may insert the GWCF logo in place of “the GiveWell Community Foundation.” GWCF logo files can be found below.
Materials are expected to have the GiveWell Community Foundation logo clearly visible. Please refer to the brand guidelines below to ensure proper use of the GiveWell Community Foundation logo. Black and white versions of the logo are available upon request.

Grantees are encouraged to submit stories, photos, and videos at uwcf.org/ucrfgrant. Submitted materials may be used for promotional materials, such as annual reports, newsletters, or press releases.
