Since 1998, The Schools of McKeel Academy has been contracted by the Polk County School Board to provide a tuition-free high quality educational choice for families in Polk County.  Designated a high-performing public charter school system by the Florida Dept. of Education, it serves over 2,900 students, PreK to 12th grade, on three campuses in Lakeland, Florida – McKeel Academy of Technology (7-12), South McKeel Academy (PreK-7) and McKeel Academy Central (PreK-6). This fund helps support the academic programs which focus on an innovative curriculum integrating the latest technology to challenge and prepare students for their future.
