Thanks to GiveWell Community Foundation fundholders, 92 nonprofits received Impact Polk 2025 grants.
LAKELAND, FL (August 14, 2025) – GiveWell Community Foundation (GWCF) is pleased to announce that a total of $665,933.73 has been awarded through the Impact Polk 2025 grant cycle. Impact Polk is GWCF’s annual competitive, donor-directed grant program with the goal of addressing community needs throughout Polk County.
Thanks to the George W. Jenkins Fund, the Bell-Barnett Family Fund, and the Leland Bryan Fund within GiveWell Community Foundation, 92 nonprofit organizations received full or partial funding.

For this year’s grant cycle, 501(c)(3) organizations serving in Polk County were invited to apply for Impact Polk 2025 funding from October 7 – November 18, 2024. The Foundation received 140 applications requesting a total of more than $2 million. Impact Polk grants support a broad range of needs, such as health and human services, education, arts and culture, and animal welfare.
