GiveWell Community Foundation is offering a Request for Applications (RFA) for the Mabel Schaefer Grant Cycle. This one-time grant cycle is in honor and memory of Mrs. Mabel Schaefer, who had a passion to help others through Early Childhood Education, Catholic Social Services, and Elderly Services. Public nonprofit organizations that serve in Highlands County or Polk County, FL, only, and are recognized by the IRS as described in the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) as eligible for tax-exempt status may submit a Letter of Inquiry to be considered for an invitation to apply.
