Impact Polk is an annual competitive, donor-directed grant program of GiveWell Community Foundation with the goal of addressing community needs throughout Polk County. Impact Polk grants support a broad range of needs, as defined in the United Community Needs Assessment.
Public nonprofit organizations that serve in Polk County and are recognized by the IRS as described in the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) as eligible for tax-exempt status may apply for grant funding. Please read the Impact Polk Guidelines for more information.
Timeline
The grant cycle for Impact Polk 2027 is as follows:
- October 19 – November 16, 2026 Application submission period
- March – June 2027 Final grant award notices sent
