LAKELAND, FL (August 31, 2022) – GiveWell Community Foundation (GWCF) is proud to have several representatives participating in two impactful leadership programs this year. The members of both programs were announced at Polk Vision’s annual event on August 18, 2022.
Lori Martini, GWCF Vice President/Chief Philanthropic Officer, will join the inaugural class of Inside PCPS along with Jason Rodda, President and CEO of Rodda Construction and GWCF board member. Inside PCPS is a new countywide leadership program created through the collaboration of Polk County Public Schools and Polk Vision.
The inaugural class of Inside PCPS was assembled from Leadership Polk graduates with a demonstrated commitment to improving educational outcomes in our community. Members will gain a new appreciation for what it takes to operate as the seventh largest school district in Florida and the second largest employer in Polk County.
Dave Walter, GWCF Communications Manager, has been selected to join the next class, Class XVI, of Leadership Polk along with GWCF board member and President and CEO of United Way of Central Florida, Christina Criser Jackson.
Leadership Polk is comprised of individuals who have demonstrated a high level of civic engagement in their local community. Started in 2007, the program brings together accomplished leaders from across the county with the goal of developing a diverse network of resourceful, informed and proactive visionaries committed to building a more vibrant future for our community.
