LAKELAND (February 22, 2019) – GiveWell Community Foundation (GWCF) is pleased to announce the launch of a newly-refreshed website at www.givecf.org. The new website features a modern design with a simplified navigation, mobile-friendly responsiveness, and enriched content tailored for the organization’s most common website visitors.
“We are very excited about our new website launch and the robust information it provides for prospective fundholders, professional advisors, and nonprofit organizations to better understand the Community Foundation’s mission and the services that we provide to help build a better community,” said President and CEO Terry Simmers. “Whether there to learn which type of charitable fund is right for them or their client, explore resources and grant opportunities for nonprofits, or donate to a ‘Featured’ community or agency funds, we believe that this new design will allow visitors to easily discover what they are looking for.”
Refreshing the website provided an opportunity to implement new features, like a collection of useful resources for nonprofits organizations and toolkit for professional advisors, and to sunset lesser-used resources, such as the Nonprofit Events Calendar.
The new givecf.org will be updated on a regular basis with news of grant and donor stories, foundation activities, grant opportunities, nonprofit and professional advisor resources, and more. Visitors are encouraged to explore the website and join our mailing list using the sign-up form at the bottom of each page.
