In 1985, Friends of the Winter Haven Public Library established two book endowment funds to enhance and improve the book collections at the library. One fund assists in developing the adult library collection. The other helps the children’s library. Donors can memorialize or honor others through their contributions to the funds, or simply contribute to assist the library.

Grants and disbursements from the Fund shall be used to purchase capital items as well as books and library materials for the children’s department of the Winter Haven Library in accordance with the adult’s endowment program between the Friends of the Winter Haven Library and the Winter Haven Public Library.
