LAKELAND, FL (March 1, 2021) – The Florida Philanthropic Network (FPN) has awarded GiveWell Community Foundation (GWCF) a $25,000 matching grant as a part of it’s College Access Success & Initiative (CASI) 2.0. Through this initiative, FPN is engaging Florida community foundations in the work of Local College Access Networks. This grant will allow GWCF to partner with Polk Vision to prepare more students with the skills they need to enter the workforce and improve outcomes for traditionally under-served student populations.

You can be a part of student success and help close the talent gap in Polk County. As a matching grant, GWCF must raise an additional $25,000 from the community to receive the full grant offered by FPN. Now through April 2022, donations can be made to GWCF’s CASI Fund online at givecf.org/donate, by check, or GWCF fundholders can request a grant from their donor advised fund.

Update on May 4, 2022: Thanks to eight anonymous donors, our goal of raising $25,000 has been met, allowing us to receive the matching CASI 2.0 grant from the Florida Philanthropic Network.
