The Harrison fund is instrumental in helping us provide a rigorous arts education to the students of Polk County. It allows us to assist under-served students with specific academic needs as well as allowing us to offer scholarships for students pursuing a post-secondary education.

Lois Cowles Harrison Center for the Visual & Performing Arts Endowment Fund

Grants from the fund shall:

Provide financial assistance to students with demonstrated financial need.
Enrich instruction in the arts through state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
Enhance arts and general academic instruction through enriched curriculum.
Promote excellence in arts through teacher professional development.
Continue to provide and update state-of-the-art instructional facilities for Harrison School for the Arts.
