GiveWell Community Foundation was awarded the City of Lakeland’s Commercial Beautification Award.
LAKELAND (June 4, 2019) – At the June 3rd City Commission meeting, Lakeland city commissioners presented the GiveWell Community Foundation with the June 2019 Commercial Beautification Award for its office located at 1501 S Florida Avenue in the historic Dixieland neighborhood.
Every month, Lakeland city commissioners present a Beautification Award to one residential property and one commercial property for the preservation of natural beauty within the City of Lakeland.
“We are proud to receive this recognition from the City of Lakeland,” said Terry Simmers, President and CEO of the GiveWell Community Foundation. “This building has been our main office for eleven years, and it is a joy to work in Lakeland.”
