Green Horizon Land Trust was created to preserve and promote central Florida’s natural areas and open spaces for the benefit of all. Since 1991, Green Horizon has helped to acquire, and assisted with placement into conservation, over 6,600 acres of natural central Florida.

Green Horizon Land Trust Fund

The purpose of the Green Horizon Land Trust Fund is to provide support to Green Horizon Land Trust to carry out its mission and objective to preserve environmentally valuable or sensitive lands and open space areas in and around the Central Florida Ridge for the benefit of the general public, and to educate the public as to the importance of such lands and their preservation.

Green Horizon Land Acquisition and Conservation Easement Fund

The purpose of the Green Horizon Land Acquisition and Conservation Easement Fund is to provide support to Green Horizon Land Trust for the purpose of acquiring environmentally sensitive lands and/or conservation easements on environmentally sensitive lands in and around the Central Florida Ridge.

Windy Hill Restricted Fund

The purpose of the Windy Hill Restricted Fund is to support Green Horizon Land Trust solely for the purposes of the Windy Hill Initiative, specifically to conserve lands to protect Windy Hill.
