Lakeland, FL (July 10, 2025) – GiveWell Community Foundation (GWCF) announced today the hiring of Gabrielle “Gabby” Fazekas as Philanthropic Services Manager. This new position will focus on stewarding agency funds, partnering with local nonprofits, and supporting additional functions at the Community Foundation.

“Gabby’s deep knowledge of this region and extensive experience serving its stakeholders make her a valuable asset to our team,” said Callie Neslund, GWCF’s President and CEO. “We’re confident that her experience and relationships will support a seamless transition into her new role ”

Gabby’s prior experience includes legislative policy development, federal appropriations, strategic outreach, and political campaign advising. Prior to joining GWCF, she served as a Field Representative and Legislative Assistant for U.S. Congressman C. Scott Franklin in Lakeland, FL, and Washington, D.C.

Gabby graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and is a member of Florida Blue Key. She is involved with the Junior League of Greater Lakeland (Provisional), and the Greater Polk County ADPi Alumnae Association.
