The City of Lakeland Park Endowment Fund is a vehicle to insure that Lakeland’s parks have adequate funding to maintain the quality of our parks in the Lakeland system for perpetuity. As service pressures increase on the general fund of the city of Lakeland the parks department has established a fund that is dedicated to protecting funding for Lakeland parks. All funds are restricted for expenditure in Lakeland park facilities. The fund was created by the City of Lakeland and is supported partially by a 10% fee that is added to all outdoor rental fees of park amenities. The fund is open to all donations designated for expenditure in Lakeland parks.
