GiveWell Community Foundation’s Controller promoted to Chief Financial Officer
LAKELAND, FL (January 5, 2021) – GiveWell Community Foundation announced today that Angela Baragona, CPA, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. In her new role, Angela will take on additional financial responsibilities as she continues to lead all accounting activities at the Community Foundation.
“Angela’s experience in accounting and her passion for her community make her an outstanding asset to the Foundation,” said John Attaway, President/CEO. “I am thrilled to announce her promotion to Chief Financial Officer.”
Angela joined GiveWell Community Foundation in 2018 as Controller, bringing 35 years of experience in accounting.
“I am excited for the opportunity to take on increased responsibilities and move into the role as CFO of this great organization,” said Baragona.
Angela is a resident of Winter Haven, and she holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA, and a Master’s in Accounting from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.
