2018 is just around the corner, so now is a great time to meet your year-end goal for your 2017 charitable giving. By adding to or creating a new fund before the end of the year, you can make a tax-deductible donation now, then decide later which nonprofits to support.

Don’t forget! Your gift must be completed by December 31st to receive a tax benefit for this calendar year. If you are gifting by check, it must be mailed (postmarked) on or before December 31st to the GiveWell Community Foundation. For gifts by credit card, contributions can be made on our website until December 31st. Gifts of publicly- or privately-traded stock and other non-cash assets can be more complex, so be sure to get in touch with us soon to discuss.
