Johnna Martinez

Grants Manager

As Grants Manager, Johnna coordinates all components of the grant-making process for the Community Foundation. She is responsible for performing regulatory compliance for grants through donor-advised funds and other funds as well as administers our competitive grantmaking programs.

Johnna understands the struggles that nonprofits go through because prior to joining the Community Foundation, she was the executive director of a local nonprofit organization for 10 years.

Johnna is a graduate of University of South Florida, Leadership Lakeland Class 37, the Inaugural Class of the State Attorney’s Office Citizen’s Academy, Lakeland Citizen’s Police Academy Class 38, and currently serves on several committees and volunteers her time with several organizations around the county.

Johnna and her husband John live in Lakeland and enjoy traveling and spending time with family, especially their precious grandson.
