Impact Polk 2017: “Aligning the Stars for Students” by Aerospace Center for Excellence

Impact Polk grant through the George W. Jenkins Fund within the GiveWell Community Foundation

STARLAB is a portable planetarium appropriate for all ages and is a great resource for teaching astronomy, meteorology, mythology, weather, plate tectonics, navigation, moon phases, ocean currents, and so much more.

With the addition of this technology, Aerospace Center for Excellence will be able to assist classrooms to become engaging and interactive learning premises to provide lifelong educational benefits. The technology used by STARLAB is similar to full-scale planetariums at museums but with the added benefit of portability.
